The headline to this essay over at Talking Points Memo should scare every American to their very core.

While the likelihood of a Biden victory in the presidential race remains high, the fact that over 70 million Americans (and counting!) cast their ballots for Donald Trump, a dangerous authoritarian, should be deeply disturbing to everyone.

Don’t tell me you love your country, don’t tell me you’re a “patriot,” and then turn around and vote for the most unpatriotic American to ever run for public office, a man who so obviously hates his country and its citizens.
